Girl Scout Badge Workshop at the Pueblo River Campus!

Program geared toward 4th and 5th grades (around ages 9-11)
BADGE INCLUDED! Your Girl Scout will receive her Outdoor Art Explorer badge at the end of the program!

 Explore your Pueblo River Campus while learning all about the art in nature! Truly connect with riparian and shortgrass prairie ecosystems to discover the patterns, colors and sounds. This is not a drop off program. All Girl Scouts must attend with her parent, guardian, or troop leader. Girl to adult ratios must be met.

• Our Environmental Educators will lead you through all 5 steps of the Outdoor Art Explorer Badge

  5. Design with Nature

• Please meet at the deck in front of the main building.
• We will be hiking so please come prepared in good sturdy tennis shoes.

Check the weather and dress accordingly.

Additional Notes:

• Please make sure you have a water bottle and a snack.
• A minimum of 5 participants is required to run program
• A maximum of 15 participants
• Note that this is a non-smoking program.
• *All our hikes are moderate in terms of difficultly, with areas of rocky uneven terrain.
• We encourage you to pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the River Campus public picnic areas after program.
